The girls band Warpaint was formed in 2004 in Los Angeles and self-released its first EP album four years later with its impressive art rock tracks ‘Elephants‘ and ‘Beetles‘. The group’s popularity peaked in 2014-2017 in Europe where its sleek original psychedelic- and gothic-tainted indie rock was praised. From 2008 to 2016 Warpaint has released 41 songs in four albums.

Great art! Melendi is little known when he sings his title ‘Sin noticias de Holanda’ (2003) on TV. The first guitar notes are scattered, the voice uncertain, the posture and look awkward and junkie, and the lyrics evoke a dismal manhunt. But 3’30 ‘’ later, the viewer apprehends that he may have just witnessed both a great artwork and the birth of a colossal artist. Grimed as a street beggar, Melendi subsequently rules Spanish Latin pop during the next 15 years, pouring out hits in series like ‘Con la luna llena’ (2004), ‘Novia a la fuga’, ‘Caminando por la vida’ (2005), ‘Kisiera yo saber’, ‘Calle de la pantomima ‘(2006), ‘Un violonista en tu techo’ (2008) and a hundred other songs. From 2004 to 2018, Melendi releases 30 singles and ten LP albums, five of which reach # 1 in the Charts and three of which reach # 2.
