Jim Morrison (James Doublas Morrison, 1943 Florida – 1971 Paris) – Other band members: Ray Manzarek (1939 Chicago – 2013 Germany), Robby Krieger  (1946 Los Angeles), John Densmore (1944 Los Angeles)

Founded in Los Angeles in 1965, ‘The Doors‘ publishes 6 studio albums with 62 songs in 4 years. In July 1971, its cult singer Jim Morrison is found dead in his bathtub in a rented flat in Le Marais, Paris where he spent 3 months after the release of the Doors’ last LP ‘L.A. Woman‘.
